Yeah, I have internet access at the park!! Just got my office set up after getting 87 campers settled in this morning. The staff is doing a wonderful job as usual. Thanks girls and guys! I couldn't do it with out you. Many more campers still to come. The fun has already started and we hope to see you all soon. You can feel the excitement in the air. Old friends and new are waiting for all the great bands to play, but they are picking and singing in the campground as they wait. Come on and join the fun. I'll try to report in each day so stay tuned. Until then I think I will find a place to hide and try to get some SLEEP!   |

O.K. Sandy,
What's the weather like down there??? Here I am sitting at work very frustrated with all this crap  around me and I am soooo ready to get away! I would love to join you guys down in Buena Vista! Things have been very stressful and frustrating this year and I am ready for a break!!! I might just leave work and take the 3-4 hour drive down just for me! I've been tending to family like crazy this year and I'm in need of a "Nothin' Fancy" fix!!! I hope to see you sometime this week and I hope you got your needed rest!

Well I made it thru the 3rd day of the big week. (With a whole lot of help from my friends. Hey, That should be a song!  ) Folks are getting geared up for the chair set up tomorrow morning and the covered dish dinner at 6:00 pm before the open mic kicks off a great week of the BEST music in the Shenandoah Valley. Hope you can join us. Robin, I know you need a break and I hope your husband is doing much better and might be able to join you. So far the weather has been great here, not too hot, not even cold at night and just a sprinkle of rain. See ya soon travel safe! I'm hoping to get more that 5 hours of sleep tonight lights out for me, but there is some great jammin' in the campground. |

Good Morning Sandy,
Hope you are well rested today and ready for a full day. I'm glad the weather is staying nice, but that makes it harder on me to continue working. I had planned on taking leave from work on Thursday and Friday. I was hoping to come down and see Nothin' Fancy on Thursday afternoon and evening (the only day they have two shows). I thought I'd better get the most that I could while I was there!! But...I have no family that feels like making the trip (or is available to go). So, if I come down it would just be me...
By the way, my husband (John) is doing O.K. He's not back to work yet and is still attending physical therapy, but he's starting to get back into the "swing of things". Thanks for asking!! I asked if he would like to attend and he doesn't think he could sit for that long. My Mother is just now recovering from having her appendix taken out and Warren (the bid dude-my step father) had to return to work. 
But...you never know. I might get so sick and tired of my job that I might just walk out and head that way! I hope the weather stays nice and everything goes well down there! Enjoy!!!!!!!!!
